State Revenues Increase 40 Percent in March-July

TEHRAN -- State revenues in the first four months of the current Iranian year (started March 21) reached Rls.59.075 billion, showing a 40 percent growth compared to the figure for the corresponding period last year, IRNA reported.
The revenues reached 73.8 percent of the target set in the annual budget for the first four months.
The Ministry of Economy and Finance reported on Monday that more than Rls.14.034 billion were collected as taxes, showing a 6.6 percent increase compared to the tax revenues for the same period last year.
The figure reached 67.5 percent target set in this year's budget.
Moreover, Rls.41,404 billion revenue was earned from crude oil exports, covering 126 percent of the projected figure.
Crude oil export revenue showed 59.6 percent rise compared to the figure for the same period last year.
About 45 percent increase was observed also in the credit allocation for the period, according to the report.
