Bush Administration Intends to Establish a Global Empire
In a recent interview with the center's English service on the Bush administration's new policy of employing military officers to guard the peace, he said the decision has been a core policy of the Bush administration from the very start and would necessarily entail limitations on the rights and freedoms of U.S. citizens.
Becker added: "These new policies, implemented in the wake of the September 11 events, gave federal police the power to make arrests without warrants, such as in the case of the innocent Arab Muslims who were arrested and sent to prison in Guantanamo Bay. "Currently the restrictions imposed on the American people themselves are aimed to suppress seditious activities inside the country and to restrict their liberty and democracy which the U.S. nation achieved many years ago." Becker, referring to the 100,000 police forces in U.S. soil, noted that there is no dearth in police forces guarding the U.S. calling on the armed forces to defend peace and freedom is, therefore, not justifiable, particularly since the U.S. government is determined to achieve its domestic and international goals by creating tension and fear inside the country." Referring to some Pentagon officials' opposition to the move, he further pointed out that some U.S. Defense Department officials are of the view the U.S. Army has no right to interfere in domestic affairs since it is engaged in numerous foreign activities in addition to its responsibilities at home."
Becker noted that the majority of U.S. government officials support the idea of establishing a global empire and are determined to secure a place for themselves at the top of the global pyramid in order to force weaker countries to obey their orders.
Th U.S. launched its adventurist policies in the region starting with Afghanistan and will carry on with Iraq in a nonstop war to suppress nations.
This development, he said, must be resisted.
