IHO Head Meets Foreign Ambassadors

TEHRAN -- The Head of Iranian Handicrafts Organization (IHO) Yadollah Tahernejad met with the foreign ambassadors and envoys here Saturday.
Terming handicrafts as cultural identity of each region, he said that the country has always paid due heed to handicraft, considering it as a token for its social and cultural identity.
"Iranian handicraft ranks in the world. Persian carpets, pottery, textile, inlaid works are just some examples of Iranian masterpieces," he added. He said, "The organization aims to prepare the ground to promote the handicraft industry."
