Mild Tremor Felt in Kashmar

MASHHAD, Khorasan Prov. -- A mild earthquake measuring 3.2 on the open-ended Richter scale stirred residents of the city of Kashmar in Khorasan Province on Tuesday morning.
The seismological base of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University registered the tremor at 07:55 hours (0425 GMT).
According to IRNA, there were no reports of property damage or casualties.
Iran is situated in some of the world seismic fault lines and tremors of low intensity are a usual occurrence.
