Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mehmanparast visits Cuba

HAVANA – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast arrived in Havana on Tuesday night.

Accompanied by a delegation of female journalists from the Tehran Times and the Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA), Mehmanparast will have meetings with Cuban Foreign Minister’s deputies Ana Tresita Gonzalez Fraga and Marcos Rodriguez Costa, and some other high ranking Cuban political and media officials during his four-day stay in Havana.
The meetings will focus on a variety of regional and international issues, and the expansion of bilateral ties between Tehran and Havana in all arenas, particularly in media sphere.
The visit followed Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez's trip to Iran in last October.
