Is the Syrian war about to end?

The Road to peace in Syria

Truly the only way to end the civil war in Syria is cooperation between regional countries including Turkey, Russia and Iran. The involvement of other foreign powers would not be able to offer a permanent solution. Therefore, it is great to see that new developments reflect this sentiment and a regional cooperation is being built. The meeting that took place on December 20, 2016 in Moscow between the foreign ministers of Russia, Turkey and Iran, which resulted in a joint declaration, marked the beginning of such cooperation.

Iran and Turkey will stay as brothers no matter what

The Middle East has always been the target of certain factions due to its geopolitical significance and rich underground sources.

The Moscow summit and the great alliance

During the time when the Syrian civil war was beginning to escalate to grave levels, I expressed many times, both in my columns on international media and on TV interviews, that a permanent solution can only be possible through the Turkey-Iran-Russia alliance. I mentioned that the tripartite alliance would establish a substantial power in the region, that it would bring a definitive, effective and logical solution for Syria, and that it would guarantee Syria's, hence Turkey’s territorial integrity.

    A death-dealing journey for a better life

Fear… Have you ever wondered how it feels like to live life in a constant state of fear? First you probably have to experience extreme difficulty in order to understand the magnitude of the danger that the Rohingyas are in. However since that will likely not be possible, you can never truly understand or feel how a Rohingya residing in the Rakhine State lives with threat for his or her life. They live through this persistent fear and continue their lives in very harsh conditions in several registered or mostly unregistered camps.

Why did the Americans elect Trump?

The American people voted for their new president and Congress members on November 8. Not only the U.S. but the entire world monitored the election campaign of both parties with great interest since everyone was curious about how their countries would be affected with the new government. They were wondering if the U.S. would continue to interfere in foreign countries’ conflicts or if it would focus on their own people’s needs and interests.

    War is never justified

The 20th century witnessed the world’s two biggest wars, as well as hundreds of bloody regional wars, military operations, conflicts, riots and civil wars. In the 55 years following WWII, some 200 wars took place.
