TEHRAN -- An ultra heavy tower for separation of ethylene and ethane has successfully been transferred and installed at Pars Special Economic and Energy Zone (PSEEZ).

Public Relations Department of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC) said on Monday that besides the tower which weighs 550 tons and is 67 meters high, a 300-ton compressor has been transferred to the NPC site at the PSEEZ.

The tower has been designed to separate 213 tons of ethane and ethylene an hour to provide feedstock of polyethylene production units of Arya Sasol Company and export the rest abroad.
