Iran's Reaction to EU Message Logical: MP
Kazem Jalali told the Mehr News Agency that the EU foreign policy chief, Javier Solana’s recent trip to Iran took place in a new international atmosphere.
Although international media have fueled the fire against Iran’s nuclear activities, Iran’s media should publicize its rights regarding the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). The representative of Sharood citizens, Jalali, added “Access to nuclear technology is not a precondition to sign the additional protocol; it is every country’s right to have access to nuclear technology for peaceful purposes."
Iran has the authority and ability to develop its nuclear technology which is merely for peaceful purposes, he said.
The Zionist regime has openly entered the scene to oppose Iran's peaceful nuclear activities, he said adding that it is strange to see a country having over 200 nuclear warheads and not being committed to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty acting as the flag-bearer of campaign against nuclear arms.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Kazemi said that the press reports on Israel's possible attack on Iran's nuclear sites is nothing new and Israel knows that it is not capable of achieving that end.
