TEHRAN (Mehr News Agency) -- Iran stood second in an international karate tournament in Turkey Monday.

With a combination of young and under-23 karatekas, the Iranian team won three gold, five silver, and 10 bronze medals.

The host stole the show with 13 golds, nine silvers, and 15 bronzes and the third and fourth titles went to Russia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, winning three golds, four silvers, five bronzes and two golds, two silvers, five bronzes respectively.

Iran's Karate Federation has yet to name the medalists.
