3 Foreign Banks to Open Branches in Iranian FTZs

ZAHEDAN, Sistan-Baluchestan Province -- Three foreign banks are to open branches in Iranian free trade zones (FTZs), Presidential Advisor and Secretary of the FTZs' High Council Hossein Nassiri said here on Monday.
Nassiri told a seminar on trade opportunities between Iran and Afghanistan in provincial city of Chabahar on Monday that Iranian banks too would open branches in the FTZs to solve problems of Iranian and Afghan traders in the zones.
He said Tehran-Kabul trade ties would expand with establishment of Zabol Special Economic Zone.
He also unveiled opening of three more FTZs in Khorramshahr, Jolfa and Anzali, IRNA reported.
