TEHRAN (IRNA) -- Iran and Italy are to enter into joint ventures for production of cars and auto spare parts.

Tehran and Rome have held talks on nature of such cooperation, whose results would be revealed soon, said Deputy Head of Iran's auto manufacturing giant, Iran Khodro Industrial Group, for exports and international affairs Abdulrahman Qalambar on the sidelines of Italian Ambassador to Tehran Roberto Tuscano's inspection tour of Iran Khodro complex here on Tuesday.

Tuscano said that Italian Embassy in Tehran has been commissioned to facilitate mutual cooperation and expand all-out ties between Tehran and Rome.
