TEHRAN — Davud Danesh-Jafari, Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs on Sunday announced that the ministry would implement a plan based on which the budget of the Customs offices would be increased in accordance with the growth of the Customs revenues.

Speaking during a visit paid to Customs Office of Shahid Rajaii Port, Danesh-Jafari added that the ministry is presently evaluating the said plan.

This plan helps the Customs offices improve the standard of living of the staff, construct and renovate the buildings as well as meet the demands, the minister noted.

He called customs offices as among the country’s important economic pillars, stating, success in this sector improves situation of the whole economic parts.
