TEHRAN – Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Director Reza Aqazadeh said on Tuesday that all the Iranian nuclear installations including Natanz are deeply located under the ground and no military offensive can destroy them.
“According to international conventions any attack on the Iranian nuclear plants is banned,” he told the Iranian the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting. Dismissing the Western threats of sanctions against Iran, he stated, “We have gained our nuclear expertise during the sanctions and have not got it from the Westerners.”
Aqazadeh reiterated that Iran is prepared to give to the world any objective guarantee that its nuclear program will not divert to manufacturing weapons.
“But we are not ready to give up the nuclear expertise that we have obtained with the efforts and capabilities of our own nuclear experts,” he added.
