TEHRAN – Iraqi President Jalal Talabani said that talks between Iran and the United States on Iraq will be held in Baghdad as soon as possible, the Elaph website reported on Sunday.

Talabani explained that the meeting would not be considered interference in Iraq’s internal affairs.

Prime Minister Ibrahim Jaafari, acting parliament speaker Adnan Pachachi, and Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq (SCIRI) Secretary General Abdul-Aziz Hakim will represent the Iraqi side in the talks, the Iraqi president added.
