TEHRAN -- On Wednesday, Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari invited his Iranian counterpart Manuchehr Mottaki to attend the conference of Iraq’s neighbors in Baghdad.

On January 22, Iranian foreign minister proposed that the conference of Iraq’s neighbors be held in Baghdad to discuss the country’s security problems.

Zebari said Tuesday he will host a meeting of foreign ministers from neighboring countries in Baghdad, saying it could help change how these countries view the strife-torn nation. He voiced hope to convene the neighbors’ meeting in March.
