TEHRAN (AFP) -- Iran's Croatian coach Branko Ivankovic revealed Sunday that the Islamic Republic's team will play three warm-up matches ahead of their 2006 World Cup campaign.

Ivankovic told AFP that they will play Croatia in Osijek on May 28, Bosnia in the Iranian northeastern city of Mashhad on May 31 and a local team at their World Cup base in Friedrichshafen, southern Germany, on June 5.

"We will have a training camp in Switzerland from May 8-18 and again from May 25-29 in Croatia," explained Ivankovic.

Iran’s Football Federation on Sunday unveiled the World Cup jersey which was inspired by the national green, white and red tricolor flag.

"The home jersey is all white with a red stripe on the back shoulder, and the away jersey is all red with a green stripe on the back shoulder," Puma's retailer in Iran Mohammad Khalilpur said.

Iran open their World Cup campaign against Mexico in Nuremberg on June 11 with further Group D games against Portugal and Angola.

In 1998 they achieved their only World Cup win, beating the USA 2-1.
