TEHRAN -- The Foundation for the Preservation and Publication of Sacred Defense Works and Values has established the first Palestine Literary Award, the Mehr News Agency reported on Monday.

The award will be given to the poet whose work best depicts the Palestinian struggle and resistance against the Zionist regime during the 15th National Congress of Sacred Defense Poetry, which is scheduled to be held in Urmia, West Azarbaijan Province in September.
