Salman oil and gas project 90% complete
Following completion of the 238 kilometers of pipe-laying operation the hydro testing of the field’s internal piping, installation of the spools, and electrical cabling are the only remaining parts of the project, he asserted.

The $200m project is aimed at extracting oil from the region and transferring it to Sirri Island also located in the Persian Gulf and also to boost the Salman oil pipeline’s capacity.
Salman offshore oil and gas field produces 130 million cubic feet of natural gas as well as some 4,500 barrels of oil per day. However, the field is usually referred to as a natural gas reserve, MNA quoted the company official as saying on Tuesday.
The huge oil and gas field located in the Persian Gulf is jointly owned by Iran and the UAE.
