TEHRAN -- The award-winning Iranian director Abbas Kiarostami has finished shooting his three-minute film on “the audience innocence”.

Twenty-four Iranian actresses, symbolizing the 24 frames of each second in a film, appear in the as yet untitled work.

The three-minute film features artists such as Niku Kheradmand, Shahla Riahi, Roya Nonahali, Hedyeh Tehrani, Mahtab Keramati, Niki Karimi, Fatemeh Motamed-Aria, Baran Kowsari, Bita Farahi, Golshifteh Farahani, and Taraneh Alidusti as well as their reactions while watching a romantic movie.

Kiarostami is to start editing the film that will be sent to the secretariat of the Cannes Film Festival next January.

The organizers of the festival have asked all the winners of Palme d’Or (Golden Palm) to make three-minute works focused on cinema for the screening on the occasion of the 60th establishment anniversary of the prestigious event.
