TEHRAN — Second phase of Parsian Refinery will be put into operation in December, the managing director of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) said here on Tuesday.

Talking with the Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA), Reza Kasaiizadeh added that the second phase of the refinery is coming online in delay, because import of certain equipment has been postponed. In his remarks, the official also referred to Iran’s negotiations with Azerbaijan Republic over exporting gas and importing oil from the republic, stating, “Azerbaijan is interested in pursuing the issue; talks have been held, however they are yet to be finalized.”

He also assured there was no problem in gas supply to provinces during winter. FK/MA END MNA
