Iran, Netherlands sign cultural MOU

TEHRAN -- Cultural advisor to Iranian president and a National Library of the Netherlands official inked a memorandum of understanding here on Tuesday.
Ali-Akbar Ash’ari, also the director of the National Library of Iran, said the country aims to enrich the libraries to meet the needs of foreign scholars.
He believes that relations among peoples and governments help cement cultural ties.
Bossenbrook, a member of the Dutch library’s board of trustees, for his part, expressed satisfaction over his visit to Iran, calling for boosting mutual cooperation.
The agreement focuses on exchanging of experts and experiences in both written and digital fields.
