TEHRAN – The Britain-based teen Sirus Saeid improved Iran’s 200m freestyle swimming record by 0.22sec in the “Northeast” heat Tuesday.

The 17-year-old clocked 1min 56.22sec in Iran’s national qualifiers to improve the previous 1:56.44 mark registered by Soheil Ashtiani last June.
