TEHRAN - President Mahmud Ahmadinejad will start his trip to Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, and Kyrgyzstan on Tuesday, the presidential press office said on Monday.

The president first heads for a one-day visit to Afghanistan following an official invitation by Afghan President Hamid Karzai.
Ahmadinejad will then leave Kabul for Ashkhabad where he will hold talks with Turkmen Presidet Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedov.
He will then fly to Bishkek to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit meeting scheduled to be held on August 16.
Ahmadinejad is planned to meet the presidents of Russia, China, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan in Bishkek.
