TEHRAN -- Iranian Majlis Speaker Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel condemned on Wednesday the United States discriminatory nuclear policy in the world and said that the U.S. has no honesty in dealing with certain countries’ nuclear issues.
“The U.S. has no honesty in nuclear issues and uses the peaceful nuclear activities of (certain) countries as a tool for putting pressure on them,” Haddad-Adel told Kim Chang Ryong, the North Korean ambassador to Tehran.Pointing to strong ties between Iran and North Korea, the speaker stated the two countries share common views in resisting the U.S. arrogant behavior.
He said these common points can prepare the ground for expanding bilateral ties.
He also said that Majlis is prepared to give any kind of assistance to develop the relations with Eastern Asian nation especially in economic sphere.
Haddad-Adel also thanked North Korean parliament speaker Choe Thae-Bok for inviting him to visit Pyongyang for the second time.
In this meeting, the Korean ambassador said his country is ready to develop its relations with Iran, especially in economic and commercial areas.
Pointing to the 6-party talks over North Korean nuclear issue, Kim Chang Ryong added that Pyongyang will follow the policy of “action against action” with the United Sates.
The United States is not a trustworthy country and as long as the U.S. does not change its hostile policy against North Korea, the negotiations will never yield to a positive result, the North Korean ambassador noted
