TEHRAN – It took Iran’s 130kg freestyle wrestler Ebrahim Mehraban 11 years to take Asia’s gold medal as Uzbek champion tested positive.

The Uzbek was stripped of the coveted gold for using blood-enhancing substance in 1996 Asian bouts in the Chinese capital Beijing.
The world wrestling’s governing body FILA is to send the gold medal and an honorary diploma to Iran
