I was sitting in a doctor’s waiting room. There were still a dozen people waiting ahead of me. A fat middle-aged woman entered with a walking stick, carrying a big shopping bag. Before she had settled on a seat at the end of the room, she got up and took a magazine from the table; I felt embarrassed. Why should I be sitting there doing nothing, looking around, while this lady who’s at least twice of my age has taken something to read as soon as she arrived ... I felt so bad, why don’t I use such opportunities to do something worthwhile ... I opened my bag and started to search for something to make myself busy with... For a moment I glanced at the lady... Oh! She was fanning herself with the magazine!
