Govt. allocates $1 billion to promote Iranian presence in Iraqi market

TEHRAN -- The Iranian cabinet has allocated $1 billion of credit to Iranian companies that participate in joint projects in Iraq or export goods to the country, government spokesman Gholam-Hossein Elham announced on Saturday.
“On the eve of the president’s visit to Baghdad, the cabinet approved $1 billion of export credits to promote the presence of Iranian companies in the Iraqi market,” Elham told reporters at a news conference
