BEIJING (IRNA) -- Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Mohsen Talaie met a number of foreign officials on the sidelines of Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) in China on Sunday.

Talaie held talks with Chinese ministers of commerce and foreign affairs, Tanzanian minister of industries and mines, secretary general of Boao Economic Forum, Singaporean trade minister, Sri Lankan foreign minister, and UN envoy to China on issues of mutual interests particularly relations between Iran and the countries.
He further expressed Iran’s readiness to expand ties with aforementioned countries.
At the meetings, foreign officials expressed satisfaction with the current cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and their countries, hoping that the ties, particularly in the economic sector, will expand in the future.
The annually Boao Economic Forum, which was held in the southern-most region of China with the participation of Chinese president and over 1,700 officials and economic specialists from various countries, ended on Sunday.
The economic forum has been established in China in 2001 in the presence of envoys from 26 countries. Iran is one of founders of the forum.
