TEHRAN -- Commander of the Islamic Republic’s Ground Forces Brigadier General Hossein Dadras said here on Friday that Iran’s military tactics have been designed to match the world’s modern equipment.

The strategies and approaches employed by Iran’s enemies, especially the United States, have been studied and “our tactics have been designed according to the world’s modern equipment,” Dadras said in a speech prior to the Friday Prayer sermons.
“Now, the army is at its best state,” he stated.
The military parade for marking the Army Day on April 17 delivered the message that the “sanctions have made us grow in full,” the commander said.
“Cutting dependence upon the countries that manufacture the (military) equipment has empowered us,” he explained.
Other countries don not share their knowledge with Iran when “we want to develop the country’s key sectors,” and this is where the importance of innovation which is greatly insisted upon by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei become so clear, he stated.
“Innovation and flourishing” are the ideals set out by the Supreme Leader in his New Year message to Iranian people.
The fact that now, after many years of sanctions, the army can build its own planes, ships, submarines, helicopters, and other equipment is the “outcome of innovation”, Dadras stated
