Gaza City (AKI) - Israeli air forces killed two Palestinian resistance fighters in the cities of Beit Hanoun and Rafah in the Gaza Strip on Monday.

The resistance fighters belonged to the Islamist Hamas movement's armed wing, the Izzedine al-Qassam Brigades reported the Palestinian news agency Maan.
The attack follows previous air raids over the weekend that resulted in the death of six Hamas resistance fighters.
Israel last week began a fresh offensive in the Palestinian territories after Hamas killed three Israeli soldiers in central Gaza last week.
In a separate incident in the West Bank on Monday, the ruling Fatah movement's armed wing, the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades claimed responsibility for an attack against an Israeli military jeep on Monday.
No one was injured in the attack which was reportedly in retaliation for what militants call Israeli crimes in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
