TEHRAN – A Boeing 747 plane was overhauled by Iranian experts and re-launched in Tehran-Mashad route on Friday, Mehr reported.

The overhaul was conducted at the behest of the President and under the directive of the minister of roads and transportation.
Some 4 million parts used in the aircraft were detached, checked and repaired, and installed again in 9 months time.
The overhaul of the plane would cost some 5 million dollars abroad. Currently, 22 Boeing 747 planes are flying across the globe.
