TEHRAN, Aug. 1 (MNA) – Thanks to suitable potentials for bilateral trade, the Islamic Republic of Iran and South Africa can increase their annual trade value up to $10 billion, the acting Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance Hossein Samsami said here on Thursday.

Speaking on the sidelines of the tenth session of Iran-South Africa economic commission, he stated that the two countries enjoy notable potentials in the fields of energy, industry, agriculture, commerce, science and technology, IRNA reported.
The current trade value between Tehran and Pretoria stands at approximately four billion dollars a year, of which only some 250 million dollars is the share of non-oil products transaction, he said, IRNA reported.
