TEHRAN – The 8th Mines and Mineral Industries: Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) conference kicked off here on Tuesday.

In the opening speech of the conference, Deputy Industry and Mines Minister Masoud Saminejad said that investment in safety, health, and the environment leads to a decrease in accidents and a rise in productivity, IRIB reported.
He also urged companies to prioritize HSE standards in their development programs.
