Italy, Iran’s no. 1 EU trade partner: envoy

TEHRAN – Alberto Bradanini, Italy’s ambassador to Tehran, here on Friday said that with more than 6 billion euros of trade with Iran, Italy is Tehran’s number one trade partner in the EU.

According to IRIB, Bradanini called for the promotion of Iran-Italy economic relations.
He stated that by boosting bilateral economic ties not only will trade improve, but also the sides’ political relations will be enhanced.
Rosario Alessandro the chairman of Italy-Iran Chamber of Commerce also said that small and medium Italian companies are eager to invest in Iran
