ROME (AFP) - Iranian Nobel peace laureate Shirin Ebadi has urged Washington to ""talk nuclear"" with Tehran.

But Ebadi also called on incoming U.S. President Barack Obama to meet Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad ""without pre-conditions.""
In an interview with the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera published on Monday, she said: ""It's the only way to fix the age-old disagreements between Iran and the United States. This crisis cannot endure indefinitely.""
The United States ""cannot continue to concern itself exclusively with its own security.
