Iran’s 9-month non-oil exports touch $14 billion

TEHRAN -– Iran exported over $13.99 billion worth of non-oil products between March 20 and December 20, showing a 22 percent rise over the figure for the same period last year, the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) reported here on Wednesday.

Of this figure, $33.78 million worth of products have been exported via carryon-luggage and $267.15 million via border markets.
According to IRINN, 23.6 million tons of non-oil products have been exported in the period that shows a 3 percent rise.
The United Arab Emirates with $1.794 billion, Iraq with $1.544 billion, China with $1.492 billion, India with $914 million, and Korea with $742 million worth of imports were the five main target countries for the Iranian non-oil products in this period.
Liquefied propane, methanol, liquefied butane, pistachio, and ethylene constitute the main exported products in the period, IRICA said.
