TEHRAN -- Iranian football team coach Ali Daei said that Thailand match will be a good test ahead of Iran’s must-win South Korean fixture for the 2010 World Cup qualifications.

Speaking on the sidelines of national team’s training camp on Saturday, Daei said, “Thailand match in the 2011 Asian Cup qualifiers will help us to be organized like Singapore match. We are getting ready to play South Korea in a crucial match.”
“I don’t know what exactly the physical condition of my players is; however, I have studied them in the (Iranian premier) league competitions. Such matches can help our players to get ready for the World Cup qualifiers,” former Iran striker added.
“Thailand is a good team which can test us prior to the South Korea game. They have held Jordan in an abroad game. Like the other east Asian teams, they play fast. I’ve seen two recent Thailand matches. They are a well-prepared team,” Daei concluded.
Iran is scheduled to play Thailand on January 28 in Bangkok
