TEHRAN -- Iran’s Third Cinéma Vérité Festival is dedicating one of its sections to the topic of the run-up to Iran’s tenth presidential election in June.

The Experimental and Documentary Film Center announced on Saturday that the special section of the 3rd Cinéma Vérité Festival would enthusiastically receive all documentaries produced on the 10th presidential election.
The organizing committee of the festival asked all documentary filmmakers, cinema students and interested applicants to depict this important political and social event.
The docs submitted should be no longer than 10 minutes. Submissions will then be reviewed by a selection board to later go on screen at the competition section of the festival.
Several educational workshops are also planned for the side section of the festival.
Interested applicants can submit their work until early July to the secretariat of the festival located on North Sohrevardi St., Shahid Qandi Square.
