TEHRAN -- A TV series that is a joint production of Iran and five northern neighboring countries has recently been completed.

The TV series “Ayrilik” (“Separation”) is slated to be broadcast on the Turkish TRT channel, Jalil Asghari, producer of the sequences taken in Iran, told the MNA on Monday.
The Republics of Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Turkmenistan were also involved in the production of “Ayrilik”, which features a mix of a love story and politics.
The Iranian sequences were shot in Tabriz and the village of Kandovan in Iran’s East Azerbaijan Province.
Vahid Manafi, Laleh Yusefi, Alireza Balali, Khosro Shahi Rahim Fallah, Arash Shirkosh, and Khalil Asgahri are the Iranian members of the cast.
Atilla Saral, Azra Akin, Erdal Besikcioglu, Memet Ali Nuroglu, and Zeynep Tokus are the main Turkish members of the cast.
