TEHRAN (IRNA) – Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi has called on the 110 member Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) to form a joint judicial committee.

Shahroudi made the call in his recent visit to Belarus. The proposal was hailed by Belarusian officials.
If NAM member countries adopt a joint stand in dealing with human rights issue, they will be able to play a more active role in this respect, he said.
Referring to very good relations between Iran and Belarus, he said the two sides have signed a joint memorandum of understanding (MoU) on judicial cooperation.
