TEHRAN – Ironstone production in the country in the first eight month of the Iranian calendar year(ended November 21)reached 17.2 million tons showing a 2 percent increase compared to the same period the year before.

Moj news agency reported that 21.4 million tons of Ironstone has been extracted in the afore-mentioned period.
Also, 2.8 million tons of Ironstone worth $167 million was exported during the period which is 54 percent heavier than the previous year
