TEHRAN -- A Turkish translation of a selection of Persian classic and contemporary poetry will come out soon in Turkey.

Translated by Behruz Deijurian, the book entitled “Persian Poetry Selection” contains a selection of poetry by Rumi, Hafez, Khayyam and contemporary poets Forugh Farrokhzad, Sohrab Sepehri, and Ahmad Shamlu.
Deijurian is also planning to publish his own collection of poetry in the Turkish language under the title “And Heart and Hive, and Daughter of the Castle”.
The book will also contain his Turkish translation of a collection of poetry by English poets.
Deijurian was born in 1961 in Hamedan. He left for Turkey to continue his studies after he finished school in his hometown. He studied metallurgy in Istanbul. He developed his abilities in the Turkish language while there. He also knows English and French quite well
