TEHRAN -- Tehran’s theaters are beginning their annual spring season activities with an offering of the top selections from previous Fajr international festivals.

Qashqaii Hall of the City Theater Complex is playing host to “God Talks in Altona” written by Mohammad Ebrahimian. The play received the best actor award at the 28th Fajr International Theater Festival.
Behzad Farahani, Kazem Baluchi, Mahbubeh Bayat, Hamidreza Hedayati are featured among the cast of the play.
Sayeh Hall will also stage “Macbeth” by director Reza Servati. “Macbeth” won a special award from the 8th edition of the Fajr festival.
The play 11:11 by directors Roxana Bahram and Hassan Zargar will also go on stage at the venue of the workshop of the complex.
Molavi Hall is busy staging “Dreams of Silence” written by Azadeh Shahmiri and Isar Abumahbub.
Vahid Aqapur, Elham Heidari and Ramin Sayyar-Dashti are among the cast members.
Molavi’s other hall is also playing host to “I, Hamlet, You” by Farzin Reihani. Jila Al-e Rashad and Sajjad Hamidian star in this pantomime.
