Iran finishes last in FINA World League

Iran narrowly lost to New Zealand in the second leg of the Asia-Oceania zone FINA Water Polo World League competitions on Sunday.

Iran, who was also beaten by China, Kazakhstan, Japan and Australia, lost to New Zealand 10-9 in Tianjin, China.
In the men’s games, Australia, China, Kazakhstan, New Zealand, Iran and Japan, with about 90 players, took part in the competition. Australia finished first and qualified for FINA Water Polo World League 2010 Super Final
