Iran to open consulate in Najaf soon

TEHRAN – Iran plans to open a consulate in the holy city of Najaf, Iraq, on next Saturday, June 26.

The new consulate would be Iran’s fifth consulate in Iraq.
Thousands of Iranians pilgrims visit the holy sites in Najaf and Karbala every year. Najaf houses the shrine of Imam Ali (AS) the first imam of Shias
