TEHRAN- Esteghlal advanced to Iran’s Hazfi Cup quarterfinal round by beating Shahin of Bushehr in the extra time thanks to defender Hanif Omranzadeh.

The Tehran based team defeated Shahin 1-0 at the Azadi Stadium. Omranzadeh scored Esteghlal’s sole goal in the 115th minute.
Steel Azin defeated Naft of Masjed Soleiman 2-1 in round of 16.
Persepolis is also scheduled to play Damash of Gilan in the same round at the Azadi Stadium on Sunday
