TEHRAN – Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani and his Ecuadorian counterpart Fernando Cordero have signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance parliamentary relations.

According to the MOU, the two countries’ should make efforts to facilitate expansion of bilateral ties.
The two sides also agreed that the Iran-Ecuador parliamentary friendship groups meet regularly to follow up on economic, commercial, cultural, and political agreements made between the two countries.
In addition, the two parliaments will support each other at the inter-parliamentary meetings and organizations like the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
