Ahmadinejad highlights Iran, China roles in establishing new world order

TEHRAN – Presidents Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said Iran and China can play effective roles in the establishment of a new world order based on justice.

“Iran and China are birthplaces of two great civilizations, so they can play major roles in the establishment of a new and just world order,” Ahmadinejad said on Tuesday during a meeting with the newly-appointed Chinese ambassador to Tehran.
“The current world order is old and worn-out, and its unfairness has been proved to all people. The world needs a new world order,” he noted.
Ahmadinejad also called for enhanced ties with China in political, economic, and cultural spheres.
In the meeting, the new Chinese ambassador to Tehran submitted his credentials to Ahmadinejad.
The Chinese ambassador described Iran as a great and civilized country and said Iran has a high status in the international scene, especially in the Islamic world.
Today, Iran is making great progresses in all fields and China is willing to expand its relations with in all areas, he stated.
The strong relationship between Tehran and Beijing will benefit both nations, the ambassador added
