TEHRAN - Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar said on Sunday that Iran is using its power to serve the promotion of peace and security in the region.

“The strength of the Islamic Republic of Iran is at the service of safeguarding peace and stability in the region,” Najjar stated during a meeting with UAE Undersecretary of the Interior Minister Saif Abdullah Al Shafar in Tehran.
He also announced Tehran’s readiness to share its experiences with Abu Dhabi in the areas of campaign against drug trafficking, organized crimes, and terrorism as well as training border police officers.
Najjar added, “Extra-regional enemies are seeking to create discord among Muslim nations to undermine their unity.”
The UAE official warmly welcomed the suggestions made by Najjar and announced that UAE Interior Minister Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan will travel to Iran in the near future
