Iran to manufacture missiles similar to S-300

Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi said on Sunday that Iran plans to manufacture a missile system identical to the Russian S-300 system. Vahidi said the Defense Ministry has taken great steps in this regard, although designing and manufacturing such a system is certainly time-consuming.
Iranian lawmakers left Tehran for Chile
Five lawmakers sitting on the Iran-Chile parliamentary friendship group left Tehran for Santiago on Sunday upon an invitation by the Chilean Parliament speaker. During their five-day stay in Chile, they will meet with political and parliamentary officials of the country to discuss issues of mutual interest and regional as well as international developments.
Intelligence minister attends cabinet meeting
Intelligence Minister Heydar Moslehi attended the cabinet meeting on Sunday. Moslehi joined the meeting at President Ahmadinejad’s invitation. Most of the ministers were also present at the meeting. On Saturday, it was reported that a number of lawmakers have decided to summon the president to the Majlis due to his behavior toward Moslehi at the previous cabinet meeting.
20 financially corrupt people referred to courts
The Anti-Corruption Headquarters spokesperson Ali Aqa-Mohammadi announced on Sunday that the cases of 20 financially corrupt people have been referred to the courts. These people have been granted low-interest loans to boost their businesses or production facilities, but they have invested the money in housing projects.
